Fractal
Observatory.

A browser telescope for enormous fractal observations rendered by MathLab. Browse the R740 archive, inspect render telemetry, and dive into deep-zoom tile sets without asking a browser to swallow an entire multi-gigabyte image at once.

OBSERVATION ARCHIVE

Pick a point in the universe.

Each card represents a rendered MathLab observation. Completed observations stay cached; partial observations can remain visible while their tile sets are still being prepared.

HOW IT WORKS

Huge images.
Small browser requests.

MathLab does the expensive render work on the R740. The Observatory then requests only the image tiles required for the part of the fractal currently on screen. Pan somewhere new or zoom deeper, and the browser fetches a different set of tiles instead of loading the entire PPM.
